ARTEBENE is a German company founded in 1985. In 2005, the owners of the company passed the baton to today's owners, Beate & Rüdiger Kress. The family owned business is located in Lüdinghausen, in the heart of the Münsterland region with more than 45 employees. All of ARTEBENE's products are designed in-house and are produced both locally in Germany as well as abroad with regularly audited factories.

The company produces more than 1400 new products each year with a special focus on sustainability. ARTEBENE is a climate neutral company and the winner of the German Sustainability Award 2024.

ARTEBENE is a female brand with a strong focus on empowering girls and women around the world through its initiatives. It is also a woman-owned company with 80% of their team made up of women.

ARTEBENE is sold in over 24 European countries in over 4000 stores. Rauha is the exclusive distributor of ARTEBENE products in Canada and the US in 2024.
